Gladstone Guards are characters in Lands of Lore III and encountered mainly patrolling the streets of Upper Gladstone.
Gladstone's excellent cadre of guards is among it's most prestigious groups. Membership is by invitation only, so appointment here is a true indication of rank and ability. Their training and armor helps Gladstone Guards resist edged and piercing attacks, however that same armor renders them vulnerable to electrical attacks. Many of Gladstone's Guards are members of the Iron Ring.[1]
If Copper attempts to attack them or any other citizen of Upper Gladstone, he will be transported to the City Dungeons for execution.

- Despite what the Lands of Lore III Prima's Official Strategy Guide suggests, their is never actually an instance where Copper can fight the Gladstone Guards that doesn't result in an immediate game-over.
- As such, Gladstone Guards never appear in Copper's journal.
