Mother Beast

The Mother Beast (also known as the Hive Mother) is a massive organic construct created by Belial, an Ancient sentenced to death, as means to resurrect himself. In due time, it began to spawn a host of beasts from Hive Warriors, Hive Guardians and the various Hive Lords as a precursor to her final maternity. Deep in the Subterranean Caverns beneath the sunken City of the Ancients she waited, absorbing the residual Ancient Magic throughout The Lands until she was awoken by the presence of a particularly powerful magic aura, that being the one emanating from Luther and his dark curse - the Nether Mask. She was ultimately destroyed after Luther expelled his curse into her womb, forcing Belial's premature birth and executing him for the final time.^[1]^[2]^[3]
