Shalla's Child (credited as Huline Child) is the otherwise unnamed child of the Huline villager Shalla. She is killed by a Hive Warrior while collecting flowers in the intro of Lands of Lore: Guardians of Destiny. Luther is tasked with recovering them before he is permitted into the Huline Village.

The First Sphere[]
When Luther first arrives in the Huline Jungle, he will be confronted by a Villager who will accost and tell him the village gates are closed until Shalla and her missing child are returned. From here, Luther must seek out the Hive Caves, fight the Hive Warrior inside and rescue Shalla, who explains the creature was responsible for her child's death. Afterwards, the gate is unlocked and Luther is warmly welcomed into the Village.
