Cerberus Tigers are wild creatures encountered in the Huline Jungle in Lands of Lore: Guardians of Destiny. In melee combat, they attack with claw and fang, but will release a series of poisonous barbs at range. They are likely related to the similarly two-headed Sabre-Toothed Cerberus Tigers.[1]

Strategy[]

For the most part, Cereberus Tigers can be safely ignored unless Luther attacks first, although they sometimes become aggressive seemingly on a whim. Their melee attack is somewhat negligible but their poisonous ranged attack can be quite deadly in the beginning. Therefore, it's best to close the distance when confronting them, and have the third level Healing spell at the ready. Avoid fighting large groups at once, preferably dealing with them one-on-one.

Once Luther has acquired a decent weapon (such as Thohan's Great Sword or Great Sword Firestorm) they will prove to be no match and can be farmed easily for experience.

Trivia[]

  • Despite being called tigers, they are visually much more reminiscent of black panthers.
  • When Luther first arrives in the Jungle, he mistakenly believes these beasts to be the Huline themselves and attempts to converse with one of them, to comedic (and painful) effect.
  • According to a pair of villagers, they live in peace with the settled Huline and do not attack each other.
